Since the clothes are not seen much due to all the close-ups, I’ll judge mostly by hair. I dislike the girl’s flower dress, but the rest is quite nice. I don’t know why, but I find that rather hilarious. On a side note, I can’t hate the blanket scene because Cutiepie had to push himself up a little to avoid touching her breasts and I nearly die every time I see it. Those pink petals faling as if they were rain on a summer day? That convenient wind? Those blankets – what were those blankets even? Were they doing laundry and randomly decided to make out? Yeah… no. Namely, the scenes with the girls feel fake, VERY fake. But I do have something I wish to complain about. Might as well put them in a shower with actual petals coming out instead of water. That is a very, very mature stage of a relationship, and it looks simply too weird that they would break up and Cutiepie can just walk in shortly after (I mean, he certainly does not look any older, I can’t believe more than a couple of years have passed) and be that unaffected. The girl and Cutiepie were evidently moving in to live together. Now on the the critique because you know I nitpick a lot. There is someone with black hair who decides to isolate himself from everything by holding his head under the bathtub’s water, Sungjae smiles sadly at the memory, most others seem to be happy. Oh, also, cut to the other members, each reminiscing in their own way. He misses something that still brings him warmth. It was not necessarily a desperate longing that drove Cutiepie to tears, and it weren’t certainly tears of joy. Memories can be blissful, even painful ones, but the small things can make you cry. Now it just left him a message from the girl. It seems to not work and Cutiepie walks away, but the radio suddenly starts playing (I’m assuming it’s playing the song), so he sits down and listens, memories of his girlfriend flashing back as he notices random objects around the room – anything from taking a picture together to the time they were painting their house’s walls together.Ĭutiepie starts to walk away once again, but once again the radio stops him. He goes on to open a trunk and get a radio out, putting the cassette in. He walks inside an abandoned house, that has been evidently left on purpose and after some thought, as everything is wrapped in plastic. He’s lying in an empty hall, a cassette in his hand, until he decides to get up and open a door. The video starts off with shots of all the BToB members, but the story focuses on Cutiepie alone. Just… if they were a little less confusing. Spring night-time air, or generally night-time air, is one of the most beautiful feelings I’ve breathed (why yes, you can breathe feelings, because I decided so), and those few words bring it perfectly to mind. What makes these lyrics amazing is that they capture beautiful moments with just a few words. Took me a while to understand it, but apparently BtoB are reliving memories, so while some parts of the song are the memories themselves, most of it is them reliving their memories in a future when them and their love are no longer together. There are so many things we have to get doneīut we will overcome with the warmth of the seasonīut it immediately takes a whole ‘nother direction. The cold season has passed and spring has come again It starts out with a message that looks to the future, to the things they can do. It could be a wonderful song on the lyrical side if it weren’t so confusing. Maybe it’s for fanchants? It still feels like an end, when it’s not.Īaah, yes. My only complaint is that random complete pause after the first “remember that”. Gosh I can’t stand his voice for some reason). Okay, understatements aside, they’re pretty amazing, and at first sight I can’t identify any weak vocalists (except for Ilhoon. This is a song that’s telling a story with both words and music and it needs to be acknowledged.
However, it complements the lyrics in such a wonderful way, getting slower, happier, more intense, whatever the lyrics call for in that moment. In itself, the simple melody is good, but nothing outstanding. I’ll do something I usually don’t do and view this as connected to the lyrics. Now I love ballads, and this is a pretty well-written one too.
Okay so I listened to another BtoB song (It’s Okay) to quickly determine how this was compared to their usual side and wow, do these guys only make ballads? Might start listening to them if they actually do. You know I always look for things that could be mistaken for the song, but this is literally the song.
